Credits


A variety of credit options will be available for Careers Conference 2009. These include:

- Certificate of Attendance
- Continuing Education Units from the University of Wisconsin-Madison
- NBCC Credit
- Academic Credit (Bemidji State University, MN)


Credits and hours of attendance will be awarded based on conference sessions, tours, and workshops attended. Approximate credits (subject to approval) are: 4 or 8 for Monday workshops; 3.5 for Monday workplace tours; 7.5 for Tuesday conference; and 5 for Wednesday conference.

A certificate verifying hours of attendance will be issued to participants upon request. In addition, NBCC credits (for counselors) and Continuing Education Units (CEUs) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison will be available. CEUs require a $7.40 fee payable to the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Credits must be claimed within 60 days of Careers Conference 2009. Conference content meets several standards of Wisconsin PI34 Professional Development plans.

Academic credit for attendance at Careers Conference 2009 and the pre-conference will be available through Bemidji State University (MN). Cost (subject to change): $234.18 for one undergraduate credit, $324.28 for one graduate credit.
