Summer Institute
Unique from other professional development, your team will create an Action Plan aimed at increasing the efficacy of individualized learning plans in your school. The National Collaborative on Workforce Disability/Youth will provide a number of information sessions as well as assign a coach to
each participating school. The coach will help in the creation of the Action Plan, and assist schools in identifying and participating in a number of professional development opportunities throughout the 2008/09 academic year.

Teams will meet on the UW-Madison campus from June 15-17, 2008. Teams will arrive on Sunday, June 17 for a welcome reception and orientation. Monday, June 16 -Tuesday, June 17 will include training, team-planning time, and resource time with their coach. Teams will finish with their time
on the UW-Madison campus by mid-day on Tuesday, June 17,2008.
After completing the summer program, teams will work independently to further plan and implement their Action Plan, as well as preparing for their data collection process. Teams will have monthly scheduled webinar meetings with their Career Coach during this implementation and data-collection timeframe.
