Supports and Accommodations

-SWD receive traditional accommodations for

academic content courses at their home schools.

-These same accommodations are rarely provided

to students who receive their YA instruction

outside their home school.

-Very few accommodations are provided to SWD

at their YA worksite.

-Workplace accommodations are no systematically

planned but occur “after the fact” when individual

problems arise.
